The Monday after the Chainsaw

Three small pines down in the backyard. We chainsawed 'em. Chainsawed 'em good. We arose this morning with all fingers and appendages, though our left forearm is extremely sore. It was a nice afternoon in the sun. Later we barbequed hamburgers. We had a beer. Mrs. Stroock made steak fries and coleslaw.

So far, no gout. We'll update reader(s) on that as warranted. More and more we believe we get gout attacks not from red meat, but from dehydration. At 245 pounds it's hard to stay hydrated. [More like 250, mate-Ed]. Dunno haven't been on a scale in a while.

We had a rough night last night. We spent the darkest hours looking at blinking lights and trying figure out why we were awake. We had no answers.

In Israel, Netanyahu's government is on the brink of collapse. Israel National News says he's trying to get the coalition to pause the judicial reform...and so he has. This strikes us as wise. Netanyahu's fired defense minister Gallant, and Israel is shutdown by a nationwide strike. Stroock's Books can go either way on this one. Exit question, have Haredi parties alienated Stroock's Books?

As is his wont, General Natan Nagid asks important questions.

Going through The New American Order, things look fine, aside from the one or two annoying things that slip through the all those layers of editing. For example we call President Assad Bashar, not Hafez. Our Syrian-American proofer caught that one. Alery reader(s) will know who that is. And that's why we read the final proof.
