Saturday Updates

Difficult back-to-back days at the gym. We are sore and fatigued, especially in the upper body meaning...chest pains. This can be slightly disconcerting given our history.  Maybe we need a break. We'll be up at the Stroock Northern Strategic Direction next week, and a break might be good preparatory to a couple of weeks of doing stuff around the yard, kayaking, etc etc.

We failed to get ourselves banned from Threads. [Do better-Ed]. And we're kinda bored doing anything on Twitter. We've had a bit of fun on Gab of late. Maybe that's our home.

The Things.

We've one last chapter to read in World War 1990: The Final Storm, the Epilogue.

In World War 1990: Norway we didn't get anywhere near our 27,000 word goal. But we didn't need to. We wrote the intermediate chapter between the Battle of Lyngen Ford and the assault on Tromso. The scenes are a little short, 500 words or less. But they may not need to be longer. Anyway, a good week that advanced the plot. 24,000 words.

This week we'll be outlining and researching the Tromso chapter while wrapping things up with World War 1990: The Final Storm. In short, we need to do a lot of thinking before we do a lot of writing. We're on track.

In 11 days we'll be turning 50. [Oh great, more introspection-Ed] A bit. Also some planning. Be ready for, The Next Ten Years.
