Hmmm...someone is reading/scanning/downloading our posts made in the immediate aftermath of election night 2020. Wutchya want? For the record, 81 million people did not vote for senile and racist Joe. Joe did not get 12 million more votes than Obama in 2008 and 16 million more votes than Hillary! in 2016. And if you believe he did, then I've got some Arkansas real estate opportunities you're gonna love. To use the monosyllabic words necessary for anyone who thinks election 2020 was fair, Trump won.* 

Speaking of failed presidents and an obvious segue...A long article at Tablet about the real Barrack Hussein Obama. This piece confirms what those who've been paying attention for the last 15 years or so suspected and knew. We strongly urge reader(s) to click on over and read the piece. It's fascinating, revealing and devastating. Nut-graph, as the J-school losers would say, Barry Soetoro is not the man he claims he is. We'll discuss Barry O and the Tablet article all week. 

The Jerusalem Post argues that Prime Minister Netanyahu is watering down the Judicial Overhaul bill and a much thinner bill is set to pass based on a new way to appoint judges. Maybe. We've never had strong opinions on the bill either way but have been more interested in the political dynamics at play. The Haredi are jerk-faces and the left are a bunch of cry-babies. Hopefully some version of this reform passes and the Blue and Whites are reborn, rising like a Phoenix out of Arizona.**

At the same time, there's more war talk in Israel. Israel Radar tweets: 'Israeli defense estimate for war vs. Iran axis: 6,000 daily rockets in first days of conflict; 1,500 daily impacts, total of 500 civilian deaths; power stations hit, plunging Israel into darkness for 24-72 hours...' And, '#Israel to convert over 20 underground parking lots in Jerusalem to bomb shelters in case of missile assault, @ynetalerts reports; intel estimates show growing risk of massive missile fire on capital in next war.' If/when war comes, expect bad, bad things.

You know, despite wailing on the media, we actually come from a journalism background. Our three years at the Wesley College Whetstone taught us a lot about writing and framed our writer's mind (who, what, where, when, why etc). We later worked at CNN for six months. Did you know we also taught English for a year at a second-rate Yeshiva in Passaic? English teachers like things nice and organized. Their offices are usually the neatest.

That background is one of the reasons why we're tempted to ax the 'whip around' chapter in World War 1990: The Final Storm. Basically, the Soviet intro chapter ends with Akhromayev saying he'd better call Admiral Crowe. There follows 15,000 words of, 'So that's what happened to Castro?' and, 'Hey, what ever happened to Vladivostok?' After all that a new chapter begins with Admiral Crowe calling General Powell, 'So I just got off the phone With General Akhromayev.' 

Why not Ax everything in the middle? Make it tight, readable, quick? [Shouldn't The Final Storm have a final feel? Epic?-Ed] I'm not writing Return of the Jedi, which Stroock's Books reader(s) will recognize as the final Star Wars movie. We admit Ed has a point [*Slow claps* Usually you just ignore me-Ed] Indeed we do. In that case maybe the Battle of the Roki Tunnel should go back in. [Oh FFS-Ed]

It's NATO Tromso counterattack week in World War 1990: Norway. Norwegian tanks, subs and F-16s, Canadian CF-5s (just watched a video about them, weirdly handicapped), whoever else we can think of to throw in there.

Seriously, watch the video. It's a bunch of Gen-X guys being super ironic in the most Gen-X way possible outside of laboratory conditions. Just glorious. We have a bot mitzvah coming up and were actually wondering....Their website does say they do weddings.

*Not today, not next year though. So long as the Dems control the means of counting, they will get the result they desire.
