Will's Good Idea for the Week of 11/12/23

We blogged about Disney last year. See this post, and this post. Everything still stands, except the Woke merch and staff accoutrements are gone. Thank you, Ron Desantis.  

The sojourn to Disney World went as well as can be expected. We walked between 6 and 10 miles a day. We also stood in line a lot.

Throughout all that the walking and standing we did a lot of thinking. We got a lot of good ideas for the week of 11/12/23.

We spent a lot of time thinking about what we need to do to wrap up the rough draft of World War 1990: Norway. We're expanding our subplot about the  Norwegian Home Guard around Banak and adding an epilogue which shows the destruction of the Soviet Northern Fleet. These two plots are related. 

As soon as we finish the two young White House staffers story in War Night, we'll write the missile silo story. We shall have four short stories completed by the end of the year. 

We got together a rough, conceptual outline of World War 1990: Thatcher's War. This novel will begin immediately after the conclusion of TFS. By January TFS will be all done and Norway will be in editing. Thatcher's War will be the next project. 

We were unable to conceive a side project, a non World War 1990 or nuke novel. Maybe that's the summer sneak in. Red Dawn Thingy?

Oh! And we got back the edited MS of World War 1990: The Final Storm. Last digital read through! If we really wanted to we could get the book out by 15 December.
