...But the Chiefs do. An excellent contest last night between the Bills of Buffalo and the Chiefs of Kansas City. Bills' QB Josh Allen missed a few key throws late, and then their kicker shanked a game tying field goal. Wide right again! The Bills are 0-3 against the Chiefs in the playoffs. The refs and/or replay did not decide the game, thank the gods of football. We counted a half dozen Taylor sightings.
Desantis is out. I sure hope you Trump people know what the hell you're doing. You show me how Trump wins. I don't see it. 'Because Trump' and we're all really committed, and MAGA, is not a strategy. Exit question, how does Trump Stop the Steal?
Joe and the Europeans are at it again. The Jerusalem Post reports, 'A two-state solution to allow for the peaceful coexistence between Israelis and Palestinians is the 'only solution' to the current conflict, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said on Monday before heading into an EU foreign ministers' meeting.' The 'two state solution' is a fetish with the Davos types. When they start thinking about it, they become aroused; sexually. It moves. Last week at Davos, President Isaac Herzog said a two-state solution is crazy. The only people in Israel who support this are Meretz and Labor, and polls show they would get zero seats in a new Knesset.*
Back in the real world, where Jews are cautious about wearing anything identifying them as Jewish, the Israelis are ratcheting up the pressure on Hezbollah. The IAF conducted a series of raids in Syria and Lebanon over the weekend against the Iranian rat lines. Plans for war with Hezbollah continue apace. Israel Radar reports that the Israelis will evacuate a hundred thousand people in the north. In the south, the campaign in Khan Yunis continues. Rafah looms.
Sports Illustrated Week: So the staff at Sports Illustrated unionized, wanted higher pay, better hours, more benefits. Excuse this magazine writer while he laughs. No wonder ownership said, 'Fuck it. You're all fired.' Years ago, we asked a military history magazine for more money. They wished us luck in our future endeavors. As we described recently, we asked another military history magazine what they're paying for articles these days. The number hasn't change in 15 years. We've written many times how Decision Games stiffed us for a lousy $400. So those are the stakes.
Look closely at the (thinning out) magazine shelves, unemployed SI losers. You'll see once important magazines have perhaps half the pages they did 20 years ago. Magazine writing isn't a career anymore. Open the contributors page of a magazine like Military History Monthly (where we have three articles), and you'll see professors who want to publish, authors who are excerpting their work, or middle-aged guys and some gals, whose hobby is history.

*During an emergency meeting at our synagogue a few days after the 10/7 massacre, we excoriated another member for suggesting same.
