We had no right to expect yesterday afternoon's weather. After a morning deluge, the rain stopped about 12:30, and by 1:30 the sun was out! We got in a couple of glorious hours at the beach and a short sojourn to the pool. We had dinner at the Engleside, sunset on the bay, and then music in the park across the street. We'll probably head home tonight.
Prime Minister Netanyahu's congressional address reminded us of President Bush's 9/11 address. Indeed Bibi invoked 9/11 and Pearl Harbor several times. By one count Bibi got 58 standing-ovations. One could hear some hooting and, dare it be said, rebel yells. Reminder, the Jew has always had a home in the South; [points to self] we know.
Well, we sent in Ambush at Lingayen Gulf. We'll know in a couple of weeks. We like our odds. But you know what god does when one plans. Pursuant to that, thanks for the ideas, people. We managed a bit of work on War Night's Haig in the bunker scene. At this point, the foreign leader chapter will be about the Irish Taoiseach. We're getting to know the time and terrain, and we have a feel for the moment.
Just watched a replay of the speech was very impressed and now I can see how he has kept power in Israel for so long after that speech I was ready to move to Israel and vote for him
