Good morning, Stroock's Books people, and happy Chinese lunar new year. Given our town's demographic profile, the Stroock girls have today off from school. Why, our neighbors are readying their firecrackers and dragon floats and...We are reliably told this is the year of the wood snake. Oh look the house is filled with bickering teenage girls. 

Out of curiosity we watched the first press briefing of the second Trump administration yesterday. Spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt slammed the press right to their faces and took shots at the Biden Regime. We'll just say we were both entertained and impressed. 

Interestingly Leavitt also talked about the dread drones of New Jersey. NJ.com reports, 'The White House said Tuesday the drones spotted flying over New Jersey late last year were authorized by the Federal Aviation Administration for “research and various other reasons.”' This is a hangout or a modified limited hangout at best. Stroock's Books still blames the Jews. The imams are right about them, you know. 

Speaking of Jews [Oh, nice segue-Ed] Prime Minister Netanyahu is going to Washington next week and Trump's personal Mideast envoy is in Israel.  Secretary of State Rubio has said the US doesn't want Hamas to run Gaza. Word is the administration prefers the PA to be in charge. A grand deal involving Saudi Arabia may be in the works, they say.  Will a Saudi led coalition supervise Gaza? If so that would be a huge victory for Israel. Meanwhile Israel's war on terror has shifted to Judea-Samaria - for now.

More Jews, Israel Radar has a report on Israel's relationship with Russia and Russia's shrinking footprint in Syria. Nut-graph, as the J-school losers would say, Israel's strategic situation is improving. Also, Israel is shipping dozens of Patriot missiles and their launchers to Ukraine. Good. They should also send captured Hamas and Hezbollah weapons to the Ukes. Putin made certain choices regarding Israel. He chose unwisely. Reminder, with sorrow more than anger,  Stroock's Books revoked the coveted Friend of the Jew status previously awarded to Putin.

Wrapping up Saigon on the Thames, sometimes the contours of a story aren't worked out till the very end. Sometimes the end is where the opportunities present themselves.
