Ennui Three

Good morning, Stroock's Books faithful; we all believe, we all believe...a little Pearl Jam for you.

We'll see more spring-like temperatures today. The lawn guys are going around the neighborhood. We do our own yard work [and it shows-Ed]. It sure does.

We awake with a sore knee. After consultations with Mrs. Stroock, we think this is arthritis. Ah, up and about and did a cherry juice shooter...that's much better.

Substack looks more pointless by the day.

Yes, we approach today with more ennui.

In the news...Rosie O'Donnell has fled to Ireland. Good. They deserve one another...Air Canada Maps don't recognize Israel and show something called 'Palestinian Territories'. Today we march on the Tim Hortons down the street.  ...Tucker Carlson and a lot of the dissident right are getting loopy. It's not our job to police this. We think Tucker is following his instincts to their natural conclusion... What happens in Ukraine next is up to Russia it seems. Take the deal, Vlad.

Our phone dinged at 3:01 AM last night. We looked this morning to see it was a message from an old, old friend we grew up with. His father passed away not unexpectedly last night. A big piece of that street we grew up on in the 80's went with him. We admit to being a bit emotional. Kaddsih.

DOGE report: Lots of working on and tidying up the Battle of Derry yesterday. We also did some scut work on War Night. We approach sending the MS to our people for formatting with [Great fear and trepidation?-Ed] Great fear and trepidation. That's the gig, man. We did some thinking about the third chapter of the Battle of Derry. It's gonna be one scene, told from the UDR's GOC vantage point. This will be a command post chapter.
