Good morning, Stroock's Books people. The knee is somewhat better this morning then it was yesterday morning. Trouble is by bedtime the knee is as bad as it ever was. More trouble, we haven't been to the gym in several days and feel icky. Reminder, our body needed a gym break anyway. 

A bit more rain last night, always welcome. Hmmm sunny with highs in the 50s this afternoon. Hmmmm again...

Sorry but The Atlantic's Geoffrey Goldberg being accidently added by NSA Mike Waltz to the Houthi air strikes chat is hilarious. And for the record, Goldberg has no obligation whatsoever to keep the administration's secrets. If we were Goldberg we'd slow drip details from the chat all week. Yes, Goldberg is a lying media liar. Oh well. Don't have him in your phone. 

Reporting this morning says Trump is considering firing Mike Waltz (or not). This is a mistake. No one in the Obama/Biden Regime was ever held accountable for their screw ups. Why should Waltz be held accountable for his?*

More fun with Israeli polls at Jeremy's Knesset Insider. As always, the field is muddled. JKI has Likud dropping from 33 to 26 seats. We shall see. As always, Netanyahu handily beats Lapid and Gantz in a head-to-head matchup (note, this is a parliamentary system and they don't do things that way).** Naftali Bennett seems to be the only man who can slay Bibi. Looking at these polls we see an opening to an interesting center coalition run by Bennet, with Gantz, Avigdor Lieberman (who is very hard line on security issues) and Lapid. Such a coalition could pass a Haredi draft bill. 

DOGE Report: an unfocused and frankly, bad day yesterday as we considered and reconsidered a lot of what we're doing. This is fine. These often lead to great days. We feel one is coming on. But why, the reader may ask, are we writing about a dry cleaner in Boston? Because a bar would be too obvious. 

*Or was Waltz already leaking to Goldberg as some reporting is saying this morning? In which case can his sorry ass.
