FAFO Four/Four

A drizzly good morning from New Jersey, associated Stroock's Books people.

Last night the Israelis flattened the Houthis' Hodeidah Port. As we write this the Israelis are bombing Sanaa International Airport to smithereens. It's been pointed out to us that Yemen is actually farther away from Israel than major Iranian nuclear sites. The warmup for the Big Show continues.

Related, Der Krauts: 'Right-wing sovereigntists the AfD called for fresh national elections after, for the first time in history, the would-be next chancellor failed to be elected to lead by the parliament he theoretically commands.' We play the first phew bars of Deutschland Ubber Alles in the most ominously German way possible. Screw them.

The great Mark Steyn on the questionable Nigel Farage, 'As readers well know, I - like almost everyone else who's ever had any dealings with him - have a low regard for Nigel Farage. If I saw him crossing the road in front of me, I would have no hesitation in flooring it and ploughing him into the asphalt.' Nigel is the least worst option at this point. We don't trust Kemi Whatshername or any other Tory, not one bit. Coincidently, FB tells us we posted this Nigel clip 15 years ago today, which is when Herr Farage came into our consciousness.

DOGE Report: we went over the battle of Derry chapters yesterday morning. We now know how to start the UDR retaking Derry chapter and generally how the chapter will go. Reader's will see Brigadier Charles Rtichie in his HQ listening to field reports come in, followed by a scene in which some hoodlum element is confronted and destroyed by the UDR/RUC.

In the afternoon we picked up one of our IRA books and began the laborious rereading process. We've decided that World War 1990 Thatcher's War needs Martin MacGuinness and Gerry Adams. That's just all there is to it.

We made no progress on a new nuke story.
