Saturday Updates

Good morning, Stroock's Books people, and happy Saturday.

Rain last night. Good.

The knee bugs us less and less. But it still bugs. We could probably lift today if we wanted to. Probably. We remain annoyed.

We got in a Judaism last night. We were annoyed by some of the Gaza War comments we heard during the post service oneg (gathering), but didn't see any point in jumping all over someone.

Related: Israel wants the current Witkoff deal and Hamas is hedging. This means the deal is a good deal. Deal or no deal, we are fine either way. Bomb Gaza.

IDF sources are saying they will defeat Hamas in a few months....and a ceasefire now will allow them to deal with Iran. Which is it? Can it be both?

In truth we ourselves are weary of the Gaza War. So's the Israeli public. One way or another it's time to wind things down.

The Things.

Do we still need to do this with our daily DOGE reports?

We need a build up chapter in Thatcher's War, maybe two. We envision how those go. World War 1990: Thatcher's War is 70,000 (Jesus) words.

We researched and fooled around with World War 1990: The Managua Campaign all week and have written a couple of scenes. Cuban insurgency leads to invasion of Nicaragua. Plus lots of political intrigue in Washington.

After slashing the price, sales of War Night: Stories of the Great Nuclear War of 1975 are on the rise. We got the folks who are willing to pay $9.99, now we're getting the folks who will only pay $4.99. The final price will be $6.99. All prices American. We don't recognize the Canadian dollar. War Night has 60 ratings and a 4.3 star average.

  1. I feel your pain with the knees after 10 years in the infantry and the rest doing blue collar jobs I'm 51 now and some days it takes a act of God to be able to get out of bed
