Good Sunday morning from rainy New Jersey. You Christians get yourselves to church, now.
We're expecting rain through today and then tomorrow. That ought to about take care of New Jersey's reservoir levels, don't you think?
We had one of those frustrating Saturdays where we tried not to work but didn't have much to do otherwise, leaving us scrolling various sites for inspiration.
We did get to the gym yesterday. We don't know if this is still a thing, but back in the day, meaning 1990-1992, guys wanted to know how much they could bench press. 'Dude, how much can you bench?' In
Jews roundup...The Israelis disabled a Gaza activist ship near Malta via drone strike conducted from a C-130. Why didn't they wait for Greta Thunberg to board?...A Houthi missile landed near Ben Gurion Airport. It's like the Houthis enjoy being bombed to smithereens...Something very big exploded in Mashaad, Iran, a 'motorcycle factory'. That's the third such incident in a week or so. And now a chemical plant in Qom? And a fire in Tehran? The imams are always right...Now that stroke impaired Senator John Fetterman supports Israel, the Democrat/Media complex is attacking his impairment. No fate is too bad for these people.
World War 1990: Thatcher's War....Ah so there is no third Battle of Derry [Londonderry-Ed] chapter. The third chapter would be the UDR retaking Derry [Londonderry-Ed] which we haven't written yet. After re-reading the 2nd chapter, we are not as pleased as we once were with said chapter. We had a couple of, 'Wait, who's that guy? What's the thing? What's Ian Paisley up to from hospital? And what happened to the guy who shot him? And just how much of Derry is burned out? [Londonderry -Ed] Shut up, Ed. You're from Liverpool. What the fuck is this? Who the fuck are these people?
We created our very own Irish-American folk band - The Devs. If you know you know. And we have to finish this song of theirs: 'Here's to you/brave lads of Derry...'
Will's Good Idea for the week of 5/4/25...pursuant to the above, we're reading through the Battle of Derry again. Also, we probably must needs reread (again) all of our Irish research books.
