Saturday Updates

Happy Saturday, Stroock's Books readers.

The cold is gone, more or less. We haven't been to the gym in a week now. Which is fine, our body needed a gym break anyway. Or so we keep telling ourselves. Every day we don't go to the gym we grow weaker while our enemies grow stronger.

Mrs. Stroock and the girls depart for Indiana tomorrow. You know what that means [Morose sullenness and weirdness?-Ed] Usually. We think we can prevent it this time, though.  Even so, we'll enjoy a few days on our own and then get bored. It's times like these we are reminded that in five years Youngest Daughter will be out of the house, at college at least [You're already morose-Ed].

The Things:

World War 1990: Ireland, or whatever it's called is at the editors.

World War 1990: Thatcher's War is 35,000 words, now with an intro that deals with Protestant violence and what not.
