Will's Latest bit of work for Moscow

My latest at Inforos:
Boris Johnson, the eccentric and wacky publisher, Mayor of London, MP, and English toff with a bad haircut, won a landslide victory last week. Boris’ Tories won 45% of the vote and gained 65 parliamentary constituencies for a total of 366 seats in the Commons. This gives Johnson an outright majority in the Commons of 80 seats, more than he needs to see Brexit through and begin normal politics anew. Johnson’s victory is a mandate for the remade Conservative Party and a mandate for the resolution of the one issue that has dominated British public life for the last three years, Brexit. For the 2016 Brexit referendum did not end the Brexit debate. Rather, the Leave campaign’s victory began the debate in earnest as establishment Remainers and the Labour Party have tried to scupper Brexit. Johnson and the Tories...
You know the drill.

Love the pic.

Awwww....Sad Little Socialist

I gotta be honest with you people. For whatever reason I wasn't optimistic going into yesterday evening. I dunno. I just wasn't, not with the polls showing the race tightening.

We'll deal with that in another post.

Last night watching Lefty Brit Twitter was...glorious. Yes, the word is GLORIOUS. I'll take glorious for $500, Alex.

I enjoyed it. I did enjoy it so.

Enjoy this:
That's John McDonnell, number two man in Labour, oh is he ever number two. In that clip he looks and sounds like he should feel, which is....awful, horrible, terrible, no good. Suicidal. We're not going to get in his way.

Do stick with the clip. There's plenty of heckling and a fight breaks out. Don't ask me why a Limey bloke is wearing a Boston Red Sox cap. Maybe he's an IRA man?

Boris the Changer

This was a change election.

Which is ironic because the Tories have been in power since 2010. But still, this was a change election.

Labour is now the party of over-educated, soy foam latte drinking, urbanite hipsters who love globalism and the EU, and see a bowl of English mashed peas and ask if they can get some of that Mexican avocado dip.

The Conservatives are the party of the working class now. Chances are that if you love Football and a pint, you voted for Boris and before that you voted Leave.

Liberals throughout the west assume race is the determining and permanent political factor. How do these Marxists not understand that class is more important?

Respondents reported the number one issues in this election were Corbyn and Brexit. The former comes down to one question, are you European, or are you British?

Boris Johnson is very and uniquely British.

This isn't  David Cameron's* Conservatives Party from 2010.

It's Boris' party now.

*Worst PM since Gordon Brown

Boris' Big Day....

...is tomorrow.

Breitbart has an excellent write up on where the electorate stands.

Nut graph as the J-school losers say, is that the Tories will probably win a majority but may not. A hung parliament 'cannot be rule out.' The race is tightening.

Once more we shall see if Stroock's Law applies.

It didn't with the most recent Israeli elections.

We'll stand by our prediction of observation vs data and say Boris wins handily.

[Doing so costs you nothing, mate-Ed]

Boris Rises

Via Guido Fawkes we see Boris and the Tories are now topping out at 47% of the vote. This gain is coming at the expense of the Brexit Party whose voters are smartly coming home.

Labour is also surging a bit as left voters are doing the same.

Forty-seven should be enough for Boris to win a conservative majority, no? We bet a lot of that Labour support will simply deliver super-majorities in core Labour constituencies like the tonier parts of London, just like California here in the US. Jerks.

It's easy to see why the Tories are winning. Boris' campaign is relentlessly optimistic. Get Brexit Done! is a great slogan. It's positively Trumpian.

Meanwhile Jew hating pig Jeremy Corbyn, last seen apologizing for the IRA,  promises more negotiations and another referendum. Socialists love politics, don't you know.

Hmmm...does Boris go back to Brussels and demand and even better deal?
