Woodstock Dead and Gone and Good

The Daily Caller reports:
Michael Lang, co-founder of the three-day festival to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the music festival Woodstock, said the event has been cancelled due to “unforeseen setbacks.”
Thank god.

Read on and you'll see that Jay Z pulled out of the show, also John Fogerty.*

And so we see what happened to Rock & Roll. The genre has been overtaken by rap/hip-hip, which is of course not music.

Also, refusal to die. John freakin' Fogerty? That's like Al Jolson performing at...the origional Woodstock.

*Google him everyone under 40.
** Here's what we wrote ealier in the year.
