Will Recalls or Doesn't

The first day of school went off swimmingly. So did the first day of dance. It's been 18 months since we had the house to ourselves for 6 or 7 hours. Felt kinda weird.

We opened up The Final Storm and got to work. The opening chapter shows the Soviets; the Politburo, Backfire pilots, nuclear silo guys, etc etc. The chapter needed a lot of work. We'll go back through it today. We'll also be printing out a couple of copies of The Great Nuclear War of 1975. We've got a beta reader in the neighborhood. Ok, we did a little work on The Weser too. 

This blog does not necessarily believe the California recall polls. Nevertheless, we expect Newsome to win or 'win'. What difference does it make? What could Larry Elder really do in Sacramento? California cannot be saved. Nor does it deserve saving. Expect to see serious secession calls from the red counties. We can tell from here in New Jersey. That might be the solution. California, you deserve Gavin Newsom. 

Mark Steyn excoriates George W Bush. Quite right. The nice thing stopped working about 2003, George. This blog wonders why it defends a man who wouldn't defend himself, or us. There's a reason Jeb got 3% of the vote in the 2016 GOP primary.

In Palestinian news, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib used to write for Louis FK's magazine.

Moving on, Somalia's finest, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, is tweeting about the nefarious influence of Jewish money.

And in Civil War news, Virginia's #metoo Dems were going to impeach accused rapist Lt. Governor Justin Fairfax until the state's black leadership pointed out that a bunch of Becky's were trying to, I dunno, what's the word I'm looking for?...Oh yes lynch the Lt. Governor. I mean, Lt. Gov Fairfax is a Democrat, so WilliamStroock dot blogspot dot com's sympathy for the man is extremely limited, but can he at least be convicted of something before he's removed from office?

Wither the White Race (Democrats Rejoice)

Breitbart tells us that the white birthrate has dropped below replacement level in all 50 states.

This happening in Brooklyn, San Francisco, Austin is understandable. But what's up with Utah, Mississippi, Kentucky? Come on fellas, a VS box, some flowers, candlelight....this ain't rocket science guys.

Cometh the GOP's demographic demise. Or not.

Salena Zeto (PBUH) reports that FL Senator Rick Scott won 48 percent of the Hispanic vote in his two races for governor.

Ahhh, the Cubans*, says the skeptic. Cubans understandably loath the Party of Castro But the Cuban vote only accounted for 35% of the overall Hispanic vote.

Then there's the Texas case. Between 1994 and 2006 W and Rick Perry got between 33 and 49 percent of the Hispanic vote.

And in 2004 W got between 40-44 percent of the Hispanic vote nationally.

The Democrat Party of Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez thinks race trumps everything. Being a Venezuelan style Marxist, AOC should understand that race is a construct and class is everything.

Wither Joe Lieberman (who?)

Former senator and failed vice presidential candidate Joe Lieberman (remember him?) has spoken.

The sop who specialized in furrowed brow stentorian speeches said that Alexandra Ocasio Cortez is not the future of the Democrat party.

Ms. Venezuela replied, 'New party. Who dis?'

Quite right, actually.

Joe Lieberman is sooooo 2000. The Lieberman moment was silly, really. After being nominated for veep he was running around saying, 'Only in America'. Of course Britain had a Jewish Prime Minister way back in the 19th century.

Anyway, the Lieberman moment didn't last long. He was excommunicated by the Dems in 2006, defeated in his own primary for supporting victory in Iraq.

Lieberman existed mostly to give Algore a way to look like he was condemning Bill's serial sexual assault without actually condemning Bill's serial sexual assault. 

Lieberman's not even a Democrat. He has no future in the party.

No, the future of the Democrat Party is know-it-all, no-nothings like Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar*.

Beware Enemies of the Jew

There's an anti-BDS bill making its way through congress.

Up until yesterday, the bill had the support of Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer, otherwise the worst Jew in America.

The Juden hass of freshwomen like Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar has made Amy Schumer's uncle aware of a yuuuge rift in his own party. 

As noted previously, Congress-palestinian Rashida Tlaib wiped Israel off her office map, no doubt in anticipation of doing so for real. She's also claimed that the Jew is using the black as muscle.*

AOC, Ilhan and Tlaib are the ice in the crack.

The old line Dems more or less support Israel. The new, young hip Millennial Dems like Ms. Venezuela do not.

Here's an excellent clip of Bernie Sanders at a Vermont townhall that shows the phenomenon perfectly.

For a generation now, support for Israel has been holy-writ amongst the GOP elite and base.

Now not so much with the Dems. Even so 80% of American Jews voted Dem in the last election.

Are the Imam's wrong? Is the Jew not as clever as they believe? Perhaps so in America.

The Hebrews are God's chosen people. Muslims would interpret this as a blessing and mark of superiority. For Jews it's a burden. The history of the Jewish people is the history of suffering and almost all Jewish holidays can be summed up thusly, 'They tried to kill us. They failed. Let's eat.'

Nevertheless, the Jew is still here.

Puerto Rican Jews are Totally a Thing

Congressman-person (I dunno) elect Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Yorktown's Finest, Ms. Venezuela claims to be....Sephardic Jew? Via St. Breitbart of LA:

“A very, very long time ago, generations and generations ago, my family consisted of Sephardic Jews … During the Spanish Inquisition, so many people were forced to convert on the exterior to Catholicism, but on the interior continued to practice their faith … some of those people landed in Puerto Rico,” she told a left-wing group, Jews For Racial And Economic Justice.

This would be historically accurate, and we just don't think Ms. Venezuela, even though she is a graduate of Yorktown High (two towns over from our own Hen Hud; go Sailors!) is capable of this kind of intricate, well researched lie.  We strongly suspect that if Ms. Venezuela were to take a DNA test she'd beat Senator Pocahontas' 1/1024th.* 

For all you Gentiles out there, Sephardic Jews are Hebrews kicked out of Spain by the Inquisition- you know, Ferdinand and Isabella? We of course are 46.6% Ashkenazi, Jews kicked out of Judea by the Romans in 70 AD.

Jews in Puerto Rico is totally a thing with plenty of cultural precedent. Behold:

Alexandria Ocasio-Obama

A candidate of no particular accomplishment, cruising through life on exotic background and identity, relying on a few slogans as a political program.

We speak of Barrack Hussein Obama, who thought that inflating car tires saves gas, tonsil hunting doctors drive up medical costs, and ATMs cause unemployment.

Early on we became convinced the man was stupid. We're not kidding. Dumb, low IQ. See also Diversity Hire.

An issue we eschewed in 2008 as not respectable, we now think Barrack Hussein Obama was born in Kenya.

We mention these things because watching Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ms. Venezuela, we are sure that this is what Barry O sounded like when he was 28.

After interviews last week, it's clear Ms. Venezuela knows nothing about Medicare, defence, or budgeting. Literally nothing. Yorktown's own has a BA in International Relations from Boston College, but when asked about the Middle East she just spouts a lot of BDS talking points. It is not remarkable that Ms. Venezuela hates Israel. It is remarkable that she doesn't know not to spout BDS talking points on air.

Facts don't matter. Identity does. Which his how we got Barry O, also Trump.

So here we are, the Dem's hearts captured by the latest shiny object, a Bronx socialist from Yorktown who wants to turn America into Venezuela. 

Move on, Russia

Ok, we get it. The press is lambasting Trump. Trump's message is muddled. Trump is even down in the all important Rassy Poll.

That said, Trump refuses to apologize or backtrack, which is wise. Never, ever apologize. Aside from making one look weak, it's like putting chum in shark infested waters. Besides, we agree with Trump. There is no reason to trust the assessment of the National Security State. Wanna talk about some of their screw ups the last few decades?

The problem for the democrats are twofold.

First, nobody cares about Russia. Nobody, and the Dems are obsessed with it. Ask the GOP caucus of '98 how being obsessed with an issue nobody else cares about worked for them. Go on, ask them.

Second, the Democrat Party is still led by a lot of geriatric coastal elites. At the same time Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, Ms. Venezuela, has captured the imagination of the party. Good lord, last night human marshmallow Paul Ryan got the Dems to publicly vote against ICE.

Russia! Russia! Russia! As the left used to say in the 90's: Move On. Actually, don't.

Shiny, Dem! Shiny!

The Clintons have had a stranglehold on the Democrat Party since 1992. Older readers will remember how desperate the Dems were that year to win. Younger readers will not appreciate that the GOP had won 5 of the last 6 presidential elections, 4 of those in landslides. So throughout the 1990's Dems were extremely loyal to Clinton and stuck by him through his sexual assault problems.

The Democrat Party would have been far better off if Rudy Giuliani had never gotten bladder cancer and withdrawn from the NY Senate race. You could see it in his eyes that night in 2000 after Hillary! was declared the winner, 'I'd have beaten the bitch'.

So the Clintons hung around, and around and around...starving other Democrats of oxygen. The Dems had no choice but to turn to the next shiny object. This of course was Barrack Hussein Obama.  After Barry Soetoro's Weather Underground inspired governance, the left turned absurdly to Bernie Sanders, who seemed new becuase he comes from the most isolated state in the Union, Vermont. Bernie is new if one thinks of Depression era NYC socialism is new.

Only a Millennial could think a 77 year old fossil is new.

Now Dems have turned to a pair of shiny objects. The first of these, is Texas congressman Robert Francis O'Rourke.* He's raising gobs of money but trailing Rafael Theodore  Cruz by eleven. Then there's Yorktown Height's own Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ms. Venezuela.

In Bobby O'Rourke we have the technocratic bi-coastal elite. He may be from El Paso but Bobby-Francis attended Columbia, captained the Crew team and earned a BA in English Lit. You don't get much whiter than that. His ancestry is purely Irish and we bet he went to El Paso's Irish Catholic church**.  We want to know if he prefers Bushmill's or Jamesons.***

With Ms. Venezuela we have the clueless elite Millennial. She knows nothing other than what she see's on her phone. For her past is truly unknowable.  Which is why she's a socialist. We suspect she's read all the Harry Potter and Twilight books, and her favorite movie is LOTR. She probably likes the Star Wars prequels.

*Bobby renamed himself 'Beto', in which case I rename myself Lance Dickson.

Ms. Venezuela not from Venezuela...or the Bronx

We were born in Mt. Kisko, New York, and lived in an apartment there for the first year of our life. Our earliest memories are in our parent's first home, a condo in Croton -on-Hudson. In 1979 the family moved into a three bedroom home in a nice cul-de-sac in The Town of Cortlandt, the inspiration for the street in A Line through the Desert. Here we remained until college in 1992. The Town of Cortlandt is where we are from.

We bring this up becuase it turns out the Dem candidate for NY's 14th Congressional District, Alexandira Ocasio-Cortez (Ms. Venezuela) is not really from the Bronx. Ok, Ms. Venezuela was born in the Bronx and spent her first five years there. But it turns out the scrappy, hard bitten, tough as nails, dare we say 'wise' Latina is actually from Yorktown Heights, which is just a few towns over from our own Town of Cortlandt. That's Westchester County folks. We'll let the Daily Mail explain:

[Ms. Venezuela's] home, a single-story with a finished basement, most recently sold for $355,000 in 2016. The median annual income in the area is $116,741, compared to the median annual income of $48,315 in Parkchester's zip code, according to the latest Census data.

'It was clear to her, even then, that the zip code a child was born in determined much of their destiny,' Ocasio-Cortez's official bio reads.

While attending Yorktown High School in Westchester, she entered the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair where she won second place for her microbiology project.

Our own high school, Hen Hud, used to play Yorktown all the time. As we recall they had a great Lacrosse team, which is pretty white, no?

Ms. Venezuela is a nice Westchester girl who wanted to get away from the 'burbs and live in an exciting place, in this case Queens. Doing so is something of a Westchester girl right of passage on the road to marrying a nice professional and moving out to say, Plainfield, New Jersey or Rockaway on Long Island.*

That said, Alexandira's heart is in Venezuela:

Self described National Socialist* Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez has upset incumbent Democrat Joe Crowley in the primary election for New York's 14th Congressional District.

Breitbart has the details on Ms. Ocasio-Cortez. She wants to abolish ICE, open borders, socialized healthcare, and hates Israel.

Ms. Ocasio-Cortez (henceforth known as Ms. Venezuela) has all the headlines and will continue to garner many more.

Ms. Venezuela is the public face of and the spiritual leader of the Democrats.

There will be no Blue Wave.
