Arabs Can't Fight

With the strike on Assad's chemical weapons program, Trump re-affirmed Arab military incompetence.

In an article titled 105-0 Why Syria's air defenses failed to intercept a single incoming missile, USA Today tells us that:
Syria is equipped with a relatively sophisticated air defense system, but a lack of training, command and control and other human factors are probably responsible for the failure, analysts said.

“It’s not just about the physical capability of the air defense system,” said David Deptula, a retired, three-star Air Force general. “It’s about the people who are operating the system.”
Someone's having fun with that headline, 105-0. Remember in 1982 the Syrian Arab Air Force took to the skies to battle the IAF and got its kebab sizzled. Final score Jews 86, Arabs 0.

The Arab is 0-5 in his war against the Jew, despite the billions of rubles in military equipment, thousands of advisors and millions of hours of training Moscow has given him.

Recall that back in 1973, after the Israelis kicked their asses and took a gigantic piss in the Suez Canal, the Soviets summoned Egypt's generals to Moscow to explain their defeat. The Egyptians said, 'No you have it all wrong. We've been studying Russia's military history and we have learned much. We have lured the Jews into Sinai. Now we wait for winter!'

Trump's Great Day

First, Inspector General Michael Horowitz releases a report showing FBI Deputy Director Andy McCabe lied in his own interviews with the FBI and the IG. This is the first blow against the Mueller Fake Probe as IG Horowitz will be issuing many reports on this matter.

Second, James Comey's book is already a stinker. Fox New's Chris Wallace says there nothing knew in the tome and calls it 'bitchy'.

Third, last night the United States, Great Britain and France launched air and Tomahawk strikes against Assad's chemical weapons infrastructure in Syria. Trump established a redline, gathered a coalition and struck. Putin had no choice but to get his forces out of the way.

Always trust Trump. Never bet against Trump. Don't get sick of winning.

Shoot

Well, the president is talking a lot of smack about Syria, Assad, chemical weapons, Putin, etc etc. Anyone surprised by this has never seen Trump's WWF appearance.

Our only advice would be Eli Wallach's in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly:

We actually think Trump should smack Assad around. That's the second time on Trump's watch Assad used chemical weapons. The first time Trump took out 20% of his air force. Trump should launch a Tomahawk strike and do it with a yawn.

Barry Soetoro said chemical weapons would be 'a red line' for him in Syria and then did nothing.

This is about reestablishing deterrent and preventing others from using chemical weapons.

Barry Soetoro left an awful mess.

Trump is cleaning it up bit by bit.

Israel Strikes!

After President Trump condemned Syria and promised consequences following Assad's chemical weapons attack, Israel has struck Syria. Reuters tells us that:
Syria accused Israel on Monday of carrying out overnight missile strikes on a major airfield, after earlier saying it suspected the United States of being behind the attack.
Iranian forces have been active at the T-4 airbase, which the Israelis have struck before.

Perhaps when Trump promised action against Assad he meant he was going to take the restraints off Israel. Who knows?

We admit to being puzzled, in a non-conspiratorial way, as to why Assad would use chemical weapons when he seems on the verge of victory. After our massive strike on his air force last year, Assad had to have known this would draw Trump's wrath. Maybe it's a test. Or perhaps Assad felt he needed a Hiroshima moment to wrap up the war.

Alt-Right Horror

Well, well, well....the Alt-Right is freaking out over President Trump's attack on Syria.

Look guys, its a lousy Tomahawk strike. It doesn't mean that next week the 82nd Airborne Division is dropping into Damascus and the 1st Marines are landing at Tarsus to be followed up by the 1st Cavalry Division. Though I admit that sounds like a pretty good idea.

I kid, I kid.

Let's think about this. So you've got two divisions on the ground reinforced by a third. The 82nd Airborne drops south and east of Damascus and isolates the city from those directions. The 1st Marine Division lands at Tarsus and advances up the M-1/M-20 to the Homs cutoff. They isolate Homs with one brigade, leaving the other two to secure the rear back to Tarsus. From there they hand the advance off to the 1st Cavalry Division. You've got an 80 or so mile road trip along the M-5 south to Damascus. I'm reinforcing with the 10th Mountain which will hold open the M-5 corridor as the 1st Cavalry approaches Damascus.

I'll be relying on three carrier battlegroups for air support, plus B-1s and B-2s out of Whiteman and Deigo Garcia.

From there it ought to be a simple matter of...

Hahahahahah.

I amuse myself.

Seriously, Alt-Right guys. We all have ideas, preconceived and otherwise. Then reality hits. What's the president thinking? I dunno. And neither do you.

Until we learn what's happening, calm down.
