Joe Biden is Still a Dog-Face Pony Soldier

You've all heard about Biden dismissing a Soviet, sorry Russian 'incursion' into Ukraine with a shrug. What we, you, me, NATO, Ukraine and Russia saw yesterday was horrifying. Joe actually revealed what he and the admin were really thinking about the Ukraine situation. It's as if Joe invited Putin into a White House Situation Room zoom call. This blog is hard-pressed to think of a more disastrous foreign policy press conference. 

On the Hill the Dems tried and failed to nuke the filibuster. Welcome to failure theatre Democrat jihadi. This blog has seen plenty of same from the GOP over the decades. Enjoy the show. There's got to be some way to explain to the Dems that nuking the filibuster will have long term consequences. Let's say in her inauguration address President Noam* calls for congress to pass bills repealing Obamacare, national conceal carry reciprocity, and a national ban on abortion. Fifty-one votes, motherfuckers. By the way, Stroock's Books doesn't believe the Dems' federal voting bill will doom the GOP. The GOP can't adapt? Besides, they haven't considered the possibility that the Supreme Court will rule the bill unconstitutional. 

Speaking of...this blog is sick of the McConnell bashing coming from MAGA nation and not just because he's from our ancestral homeland. [Israel?-Ed]. No Kentuckey, and an Owensboro** man too. Our maternal grandparents are buried in a little town outside of Owensboro called Livermore. 

Yes, the cons on the court can get hung up on some annoying point, but in the aggregate, wow. Let's look at three recent decisions. The court struck down Killer Andy C's ban on attending religious services, struck down the CDC's eviction moratorium, and stayed the injunction against Joe's mask mandate. Cocaine Mitch does coke and confirms judges. And he's done all his lines.

What Will's Watching, The Book of Boba Fett, Episode Four. Not as bad as the unfocused first episode, but kind of meh. The show's plateaued and writing this, we're hard pressed to remember what the episode four was actually about. Ah, there it is. Again, meh. Something is missing from Temuera Morrison's performance, but we don't know what.

Biden Regime in Peril

Omicron rages. Inflation soars. Iranian negotiations are deadlocked. Joe's legislative agenda is all but dead. We can remember all the way back to the Carter Administration and have some vague recollections of the energy and Iranian hostage crisis. This is worse. The latest poll puts Joe's job approval at 33 percent. The number is 42 percent in the RCP average. We've never seen anything like this. 

What Will's Watching, The Book of Boba Fett, Episode 3. Okay, we can lower the protective glass case back onto the panic button. This was a solid episode. Few flashbacks and the plot dealt with Boba Fett solidifying control over Jaba's empire. The black furred Wookie is pretty cool and we liked the retro, Steampunk youth bikers. The ending promised war with a rival syndicate. Well done. 3/4

There's nothing quite like filing your article Thursday evening and seeing it in print Friday morning: 'On January 11th, President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris travelled to Georgia to campaign for SB-1, a voting bill that would essentially federalize elections. Since Joe unsurprisingly hasn't done anything right in his first year in office, there's every reason to believe he'll ef up the Iranian negotiations. The White House's strategy: blame Trump. There's lots of solid analyses in the ToI piece, and we suggest reader(s) read the whole thing.

The Supreme Court blocked the regime's vaccine mandate for employers.  It wasn't even close. This is why, despite some flaws, this blog likes Mitch McConnell. Cocaine Mitch snorts coke and confirms Supreme Court justices and he's all out of coke. Yes, they kept the mandate for hospital workers, but at least the reasoning makes sense. And another thing. Ben Shapiro took time out from building his media empire (which now does books and movies) to get the mandate blocked. Stop the hate.

Moscow in the Morning

There's nothing quite like waking up in the morning and seeing your latest article in print: 'With just a few weeks left in 2021 President Biden’s poll numbers are abysmal. The Real Clear Politics aggregate of polls gives Biden an approval rating of 44%. The news gives little relief to the president. Overall, the Consumer Price Index shows inflation was up 6.8% in November. Prices for durable goods (cars, appliances, etc…) are up 14.9% and wholesale prices rose 9.8% over November of 2020. Compounding economic woes is the Covid Omicron variant which is raging across the United States. As of 14 November, the United States is averaging more than 117,000 Covid cases per day. Here in New Jersey, the state is averaging just over 4,000 new Covid cases a day, and the transmission rate stands at 1.26. Any number above 1.0 means the virus is spreading. The Centers for Disease Control estimates that the Omicron variant accounts for 13% of new Covid cases in New York and New Jersey...' On to Moscow.

We popped over to Russia Today and saw Moscow has sent a security proposal to NATO. Putin certainly has some chutzpah: 'The text delivered to the 30-member bloc focuses mainly on the movement of military personnel and material, including a promise that all signatories will not station their forces on European states that were not members of NATO in 1997. This excludes former Warsaw Pact members in Eastern Europe. Another article in the text includes a call not to place intermediate and short-range land-based missiles in the vicinity of each other’s territory.' 

That second part is certainly doable. That first part is a non-starter. NATO will deploy NATO forces anywhere it damn well pleases within NATO. Putin is basically trying to void NATO's post Cold War expansion. Inviting the Hungarians, Czechs, Slovaks and Poles was a good idea. Central Europe is NATO's natural boundry and bringing Poland in was just smart; just strike that idea from your head, Moscow.  But bringing the Baltics into NATO was foolish, and inviting Ukraine is madness. Look at the second letter in the acronym, geniuses. ATLANIC. What does Ukraine have to do with the Atlantic? NATO expansion is a fetish with the internationalist crowd. They love it, sexually. 

Overall, the Soviet, sorry Russian proposal seems like progress to this blog. Then again, our foreign policy is being run by Anthony Blinken, Jean Francois Kerry and of course, Joe. Joe's never, ever been right about anything on the foreign policy front. Ever. Maybe someone like Boris (who should resign for being an incompetent buffoon), can keep the US and NATO from being rolled or blundering into some sort of conflict.

How many of the Afghan refugees and so-called refugees do we take in? We've got to take some but not....oh who the hell are we kidding? This is going to be like the Mariel Boatlift. We are told there's already a resistance forming in the Panjshir Valley in eastern Afghanistan. It's led by Ahmed Massoud, son of Ahmed Shah Massoud, our main ally in the 80's.  Do we help? What Will's Watching, Star Trek Voyager-Season 1.  We haven't watched Voyager since the 90's and stopped watching several seasons before the finale. Till this day we have no idea how Voyager ends. We'll go into more detail in other posts, but 15 episodes in Voyager pleasantly surprises us. Here's why Voyager works. Unlike TNG there's no kinks to work out. Everyone already knows what works and what doesn't. This is a series in top form from the get-go. Twelve (12!) Years on

Twelve years ago this morning, as Barry Soetoro was inaugurated, we were metaphorically wandering metaphorically dazed through the wreckage of the neo-conservative movement. So confident and cocky after W's win in 2004 were we. We thought we'd cracked the code and the Dems had a serious long term problem. Stop laughing...okay? Just stop. 

The Dems annihilated the GOP in 2006 and then again in 2008. McCain (Self-promoter, Media) never really had a chance, even before the financial meltdown. On January 20, 2009 we asked ourselves, what now? 

We knew that new ideas were needed. We thought the GOP should move away from tax cuts and toward tax reform. We still believe that, actually. We started following some of the new reformist conservative blogs that were out there. The most important for us was David Frum's New Majority. Would you just please stop laughing?... It didn't take us long to realize Frum was interested in a kind of lib-light conservativism that was palatable at DC parties.  It was at that year's CPAC that Rush Limbaugh, clad in black, himself annihilated the likes of Frum and challenged the right to stay the course. When did the left ever compromise or change, Rush demanded. That's always stuck with us.

We knew Obama and the Dems would overreach, and so they did with the failed Porkulous and of course, Obamacare. 'But this time you've got me,' Barry told nervous Dems. Now we laugh. And so the Tea Party was born and in 2010 the GOP and the Tea Party did indeed annihilate Obama and the Dems. 

The Biden Regime is actually in a hell of a lot worse shape than the Soetoro Regime was in 2009. The Dems controlled the House and had a veto proof majority in the senate till Ted Kennedy joined Mary Jo Kopechne. Today the GOP is just a few seats away from controlling both, one death in the senate, heh. Mitch McConnel ran parliamentary procedural rings around Harry Reid back during Soetor's rein and he's in excellent position now. Still we can't help but feel the GOP is worse off. There's a huge problem with support and confidence from the base. No cocaine for Mitch till he figures that out. This blog is not optimistic.

People in the Biden transition team say free speech has been 'weaponized'.* Lefties at the CDC don't want to give the vax to white people. One of the Dem senate candidates in Georgia openly hates Jews.** We all have to pretend that Elliot Page is a man.*** The press tells us BLM and Antifa riots are 'mostly peaceful' and even if they aren't, they're right anyway. We're all going to get cancelled sooner than reader(s) realize. This blog suspects the first step will be citizen Trump getting banned from Twitter. It will happen slowly then all at once. We don't know where, when or how this stops anymore.

We don't know what to do anymore. Elections are useless. Anyone who thinks different should take a look at the little goodies McConnell slipped into the Covid relief bill. We don't think the culture war is worth fighting. The TV networks fired Rosanne and cancelled Tim Allen despite they're ratings. The critics slam Hillbilly Elegy for being sympathetic to poor white people. The elites at the cultural levers would rather be Woke.

At this point we think the best thing to do is pour a glass of whiskey, light up an Arturo Fuente Short Story, and watch it burn. Sorry, but that's the best we can do.

Friday Morning Ramblings

Whatever happens this election is a disaster for everyone.

People who think it'll be ok because the GOP will control the senate don't understand the stakes and don't understand how the Dems work.

That being said the Dems will get obliterated in the midterms.

Ben Shapiro said the Dems overcoming Trump's half million vote lead in PA is a 'heavy lift'. 

Ben Shapiro is so smart that sometimes he misses important details.

Of course the Dems overtook Trump in Georgia. 

You didn't think they would get to within 20K votes and walk away, did you?

For what it's worth, numbers people we follow say Trump will win Arizona and come back in Georgia due to military ballots.

We're not sure what it's worth.

Dear lord the fraud is so blatant, so obvious, so indifferent to appearances.

We are impressed with the breadth of Trump's legal offensive.

It seems like they were prepared.

Before election day Trump won a bunch of election related legal victories.

Trump has already won a couple of legal victories in Pennsylvania.

So there's some hope on that front.

We agree that Trump and Rudy being New Yorkers gives them a certain 'street fighting edge'.

Some friends have said the election is in the bag because when it goes to the Supreme Court we have ACB.

We don't know, man. Conservative justices have a way of knifing the GOP. Just ask John Roberts.

We like to think Cocaine Mitch told ACB she was nominated in the expectation she would rule favorably for Trump.

The base is rallying. One didn't see GOP protests during the Florida recount.

Make it absolutely fucking clear that GOPs not publicly supporting the president can't count on the base's support.

Anyway, we reduced our election info intake by some yesterday, but not enough.

This needs to get down to seeing what's happening in the morning and then catching up over evening coffee.

We deleted our Twitter account. That thing was useful election night, but turned into crack.

There's nothing we can do, no point in mainlining it.

We started a book on the Allied war effort in Western Europe. But it didn't read well, you know what we mean? The pages were long and the type small. It was hard to feel like one was making progress. And the book was so big it was physically hard to hold.

Election Day Cometh Forsooth Again

We were going to do a post on how we've spent election days past, but we realized we did that in 2016. Click here to see how we spent election days past. We're not quite sure what we'll do with ourselves tonight. It's too cold for a cigar. We can't take ourselves for a walk. We ought to be able to lift weights in our basement. Maybe just a movie.

We haven't watched the returns since 2004 and don't plan to do so this year. It's too damn nerve wracking. We don't think it'll matter tonight because we doubt the networks will call the states. The Dems have already given the talking points to the media. Count all the votes, Red Mirage and all that. 

We don't think it'll be that close and believe around midnight Trump will declare victory. Late tomorrow afternoon even the media is going to see Trump has won. There will be litigation. In 2000 the GOP was blindsided by Sore-Looserman's Florida antics.  But this year Trump and the GOP are prepared. Remember how they fought off the Florida Dem's fraud attempts in 2018? What where saying is, that by tomorrow, it'll be obvious. Here's our call from 2016.

Even the Democrats are realizing their screwed. In a conference last night Biden's people said Trump is 'within one state of winning.' Robert Reich is bitching about the Electoral College again. CBS presented a scenario for a narrow Trump victory. They're boarding up businesses in the blue zones. These are not the actions of people who think they're going to win.

Zerohedge reports, 'In a recent interview with Revolver, former White House Chief Strategist Steve Bannon admitted that he's the architect of a coordinated roll-out of the Hunter Biden laptop contents, and that there's much, much more to come.' That's the story from here on out. And it will only get worse.

Bannon is a Breitbart alumnus. Speaking of, Breitbart reports Joe 'walked off' when asked about the family corruption. And sceptics thought the story wouldn't matriculate into the mainstream press.

We know that Carlos Slim's paper and Jeff Bezos' reclamation project are sitting on anti-Trump stories. But it won't matter. Trump being bad is baked in.

This blog has long maintained veep's don't matter and the first rule of veeps is do no harm.  Karl Rove thinks so as well. The man knows a thing or two about winning elections. That said KAMala's performance was sooooo bad....We asked a couple of old journos what they thought and each agreed the veep debate was disastrous for the Harris/Biden campaign. To paraphrase a friend, 'People got a look at Harris and didn't like what they saw.'

Historians will see the veep debate as the turning point.

Trump is out there doing two rallies a day. That's pretty remarkable stamina for a 73 year old man who just had the Wuhan Virus from Wuhan China. Biden comes out of his basement every once in a while, reads from a giant teleprompter and goes back to his basement. A lot of voters see that and say to themselves, 'Hey, Trump ain't perfect lord knows...but this guy is busting his hump for my vote and the other guy can barely make an effort.'

One last thing. The people we follow who follow* early votes and absentee ballot tabs say the Dems should be hitting the panic button and turning their keys.

Will's Combined Saturday and Self Improvement Update With Bonus Local Campaign Coverage

It worked! Yesterday we began the morning with some hard news websites* + Instapundit & Breitbart and laid off the other stuff till 6. Felt good.

Even the mainstream polls show Biden falling and Trump rising.  Biden is reduced to arguing that character counts. How'd that work for Bush in 1992? Do you even remember, Joe? Oh, and what year is it?

NBC News found that 50% of voters say they're better off now than four years ago. Gallup says the number is 56%. Biden said the 56%  shouldn't vote for him. We agree. Oh, and the Ras has Trump in the high 40's, which is just where Barry was in October of 2012. It won't be close.

Speaking of, they're sending Barry Soetoro to Pennsylvania because Biden totally leads by a dozen there. Big mistake. Barry has no coattails. None whatsoever. ***

The Hunter Biden scandal continues... Rudy promises it's only going to get worse, by which he means better. This blog waits with great anticipation for those photos to 'leak'. Whoops. They're dripping the intel. Gee, who invented that? God bless you Andrew Breitbart. I think of you everyday.**

We have the September KDP numbers. Reads and sales from August to September dropped less than anticipated. We have been wondering for some time if this great sales year was due to the Wuhan Virus from Wuhan China. So we looked at April, which at least in the US was the worst quarantine month. Sales were as morbid in April as they were in March, February and January. So yeah, no. Our massive year is not Wuhan Virus from Wuhan China related.

The Great Nuclear War of 1975 is 90,000 words and growing. We can sort of see the end but we ain't there yet. It's a slog.

We are going through the last chapter of World War 1990: Nederland and are generally happy.

So here in NJ's 7th Congressional district we have a tight race between first time incumbent Tom Malinowski (D) and challenger Tom Kean Jr. For outsiders, Tom Kean Jr's father, Tom Kean Sr, was a popular governor in the 80's and 90's and the name is still important here in New Jersey. Junior is the state senate minority leader. 

There's every reason for the GOP to be confident here. Kean's people have plenty of campaign signs out and one can't go onto YouTube without seeing ads saying why Kean is so good, and Malinowski is so bad. Our daughters know both of their names and have asked us if it's true what they say about Malinowski.

Because it's 2020 this cynical, detached, lay-about Gen-Xr roused himself to action and has been making phone calls for Tom Kean Jr. at the Somerville HQ.

Senator, my daughters see you on You Tube all the time, can I have a picture with you? The Senator was happy to accommodate. His handshake was firm, his gaze steely. I could have gotten lost in those eyes.

We caught the last 25 minutes or so of Trump's townhall*. We liked what we saw and thought Trump's answers were strong. Of course we're biased. Do a couple more of those and be that guy, Mr. President. It seems to us that Joe gave Trump more fodder for campaign commercials.**

Readers are aware of the digital censorship about. We've been on Gab since 2016, but don't know what good it does. We're on Parlor too, same.

We're approaching The Great Nuclear War of 1975's halfway mark. Lots of fixin' a doin' but that's normal. We are generally pleased but once more are stumbling onto vignettes that leave us thinking, Oh, they're doing the thing in the place now? Oh...ok, I guess. Example: The president's staff decides they need a news anchor for daily radio broadcasts to the nation. Three vignettes later Paul Harvey shows up in Casper.***  Maybe It's just a flaw in our approach to the novel. We're not changing our approach.

Will we have this edit run wrapped up by 1 November? It's close, but we don't think so. Which is fine. Mrs. Stroock asked, 'What happens if you miss the deadline?' We shrugged indifferently, 'Nothing.'

In Which we Call Chris Wallace a Very Bad Word

This morning we mostly remember Biden's pastey white face. 

Here's what we wrote for Inforos. 

We hadn't watched a presidential debate since Bush/Kerry round one. An hour after it was over we had a sinking feeling that Kerry (S-Paris) had won.  Last night we waited for that same feeling. It never came. When it was all over we chatted with Mrs. Stroock for a few minutes and then took ourselves for a walk. By the time we returned our thoughts had taken form.

It was a draw. 

But the more we think about it, the worse Biden looked. Those quotes about not building any more coal and gas fired plants are going to hurt him with working class voters. Rejecting the Green Nude Eel and declaring 'I am the party' will hurt Biden with Ms. Venezuela and the rest of the Wacky Woke. Biden did not look good at the podium, sighing, laughing, calling Trump a clown, telling him to shut up, etc, etc. Joe lost his temper a few times. As we noted after Joe's last debate with Bernie, 'God, he thinks he's good at this.'

Not until afterwards did we consider the press and public's revulsion at the debate. We ourselves are having to explain to our 13 year old that debates don't traditionally look like that. We think we may show her Reagan-Carter, or or Bush-Gore. If they cancel the other debates as some are suggesting, that's just fine with this blog.

One other note, and you people know where this is going. Trump debated Biden and moderator Chris Wallace, who ran interference for Joe all night. Chris Wallace is a cunt.

Call a 'lid' on the Debate

#Biden has 'called a lid' on his campaign already today. He's definitely running a low energy, Matlock is on at 3 PM and I need my nap before then, campaign. 

There's a tendency among the GOP to think the Dem's are up to something nefarious, that there are plans within plans that we just don't see. But it's also possible they're just this incompetent.

The Dems claim Biden is doing debate prep. Bullshit, as the president would say. One can prepr, say, on the flight from Wilmington to Detroit. Unless Biden needs his nap time.

In his last debate against Bernie Sanders, Biden was more or less ok.

Here's what we wrote about Joe last winter:

Biden was tested during Sunday Night’s debate. For once, Bernie Sanders attacked him directly. But voters are usually uninterested in twenty-five-year-old votes and the minutiae of campaign finance laws. Biden kept listing the things he would do, prefacing each point with ‘First’ and running on until ‘Second’ and so on. Sanders, who has been saying the exact same socialist things since 2016, didn’t really land a decent punch. Biden certainly got the better of the debate and almost certainly won the nomination, despite everything. Watching the man during the debate, one hand on the podium, the other in his pocket while he smirked at Sanders, one got the sense that Biden thinks he’s good at this.

Sanders is a wimp. He never had the guts to really punch Joe in the face like Harris did. Trump will do that every time he speaks, were Biden to actually attend the debate.

Texas Blue Biden?

So there's a poll that shows Racist Joe Biden beating Trump...in Texas.  Of course the perverts and degenerate communists in the media are going with it. They think becuase the lavishly funded and compellingly arm waving Robert Francis O'Rourke made it close against the unpopular Rafael Edward Cruz, Texas is slowly turning. 

This isn't about sampling and weighting anymore, it's about logic.  If Barrack Hussein Obama (S-Nairobi)*, a great candidate with great ideas and great circumstances couldn't beat Establishment Warmonger John McCain (Jerk-DC) who was a terrible candidate with bad ideas and horrible circumstances, what makes anyone, anywhere think Joe Biden can win Texas?

Fading, racist, Depends wearing slo-Joe isn't beating Trump in Texas, or anywhere else outside the blue-hell-holes. The polls are fraudulent. To believe these opinion polls, one has to believe opinion polls taken in a country where it is illegal to hold certain opinions.

We said the polls were wrong in 2016 and we were right. We say the polls are wrong in 2020 and we are right.
